Elected Positions

Executive Committee 

President

Eligibility:  must be active member of the American Dietetic Association and have at least 2 years experience
on the GADA Board in a voting or non-voting position.

Serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Association for 1 year and succeeds to the office of Immediate
Past President at the end of his/her term without further election; responsibilities include:

• chair the Board of Directors and its Executive Committee and appoint the chairs of various Board committees

• serve on the Strategic Planning Committee and Finance Committee

• serve as advisory member of all committees

• preside at meetings of the full membership

• represent Atlanta district at GDA quarterly board meetings
