GAADE and GADA share space in the cooking demo area at the Diabetes EXPO.

If interested please contact Betsy Dietsch (betsy.dietsch@gmail.com) by Friday, March 12th if you are interested in volunteering.

Volunteers who work all day will get lunch.

Hunger Walk 2010

We hope that you'll join our team. This event is one of the most important hunger relief efforts of the year for the Atlanta Community Food Bank. The money we raise will go a long way in touching the lives of people in need. 

We need your support. If you can't join our team, please consider making a donation on GADA's behalf.   We have T-shirts for all walkers.  If you are a runner, you can enter the 5K race instead of the walk.

10th Dietitian Day 2010

What: Registered Dietitian Day 2010 Social Event

Where: 5 Seasons Brewery Westside

Why: Come celebrate with your fellow RDs of the metro Atlanta area. The American Dietetic Association proudly recognizes the third annual Registered Dietitian Day. As the nation's food and nutrition experts, registered dietitians are committed to improving the health of their patients and community. Registered Dietitian Day commemorates the dedication of RDs as advocates for advancing the nutritional status of Americans and people around the world.

Please come for a drink, dinner and more between 5 and 10 pm and receive a complimentary appetizer with purchase of entrée for all RDs who attend.  Come with your families, friends or fellow co-workers.  All are welcome!

Our GDA Delegate, David Orozco, will also be speaking from 7:00-8:00 about the role of delegate and the importance of being an ADA member.

This event is FREE for all RDs, DTRs, and dietetic interns. Please feel free to bring a friend who is a RD, DTR, or dietetic intern who is not a GADA or ADA/GADA member.
